scheduling policy

Thank you for your interest in working together. I’m committed to creating a respectful, intentional, and supportive experience for each client. In order to maintain the quality and accessibility of my offerings while also respecting my time and energy, please review the following scheduling policies before booking.

1. booking timeframe

  • Minimum Advance Booking: All sessions must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance to allow adequate time for me to review your intake and prepare a personalized experience.

  • Maximum Advance Booking: You may schedule sessions up to 60 days in advance.

2. payment terms

  • A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your session. This deposit goes toward your total session fee.

  • The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.

  • For services requiring multiple sessions: The remaining balance is due on the day of your first session. This is to cover the time and effort I invest in personalizing each path based on your unique needs after booking and before your first session. Even though there may be a set format, each path and subsequently each session is specifically tailored to your circumstances based on your intake form. Personalization will pivot as each session takes place to ensure the path you choose supports you in your unique and current flow.

  • If you require a payment plan or sliding scale, please reach out before booking. I strive to make my offerings accessible and am open to discussing flexible options when possible.

3. scheduling your sessions

  • For Single Session Services such as the magician’s prism:
    When you book a single session service, you will be scheduling one session at the time of booking. There will be no additional sessions after this unless you choose an add-on if offered. For those, it will add time to your session but if you’d like to split the sessions up, please include in your intake form or email me directly. Otherwise, we will do both in one sitting. For this reason, add-ons are only offered for elements that follow the created order.

  • For Multi-Session Services such as the alchemist’s quest or the priestess’s wisdom:
    When you book a service that includes multiple sessions, you will be scheduling your first session at the time of booking. Subsequent sessions will be scheduled during your first session or after each session, depending on the service and your unique needs. This allows us to adapt and customize your experience as we move forward. If you have a schedule in mind during booking your first session, please include it in your intake form or email me and I will schedule what’s available and contact you if a time is unavailable.
    Please note: The remaining balance for multi-session services is due on the day of your first session, as the personalized preparation for each session takes time and effort.

4. cancellation policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your session time.

  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend your session (no-show), your deposit will be forfeited.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance may apply the deposit toward a future session.

5. rescheduling policy

  • You may reschedule your session with at least 24 hours’ notice at no charge.

  • If you reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, I offer a one-time grace as I understand that life happens.

  • After that, any subsequent reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $30 rescheduling fee per occurrence.

  • If you need to reschedule, please do so as early as possible so I can adjust accordingly.

6. emergencies & when life happens

I understand that unexpected things come up: illness, family emergencies, and other life events. I will always do my best to work with you compassionately in those situations. If something serious prevents you from attending, please communicate with me as soon as possible. I reserve the right to waive fees or offer alternative arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

7. respect for time

Your time and mine are valuable. I commit to holding space for you with care and intention, and I ask that you honor your scheduled appointment with the same respect. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session without a price reduction.

8. how to cancel or reschedule

All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made by contacting me directly via mcdeerwood@gmail.com. You’ll receive a confirmation once your request has been received and processed.

9. community + boundaries

These policies are in place not to create rigidity but to ensure a sustainable practice that serves both your growth and my ability to show up fully for you and others. I am building this work with care, balance, and respect. Thank you for helping make that possible.
